These Boots were Made for Walking…

Wednesday lunchtimes you can join Peace Hub’s family peace walks, and this Sunday take part in Footsteps’ summer faith walk.

So you’ve got two opportunities to:

  • get out and enjoy the sunshine,
  • do some light excercise,
  • learn about our local community
  • and take action for peace and justice

simply by joining our community walks!

Family Peace Walks

2pm every Wednesday in August, starting from Peace Hub

Birmingham has always been a city open to free-thinkers, and there’s a great history of peace-makers who settled here. We’ll visit some sites around the city centre to reflect on this history, as well as see some of the things that are happening for peace today.  Open to all ages, the walk will take around 30 mins at a gentle pace and finish back at the Hub.

Find out more about our family peace walks.

Summer Faith Walk

2-5pm Sunday 14th August, starting from Birmingham Buddhist Centre

A walk around Moseley & Balsall Heath to connect with our local environment and learn about what faith groups are doing to move to a low-carbon future.  A gentle walk, stopping off at different faith centres and the Zero-Carbon House.

Find out more about Footsteps’ summer faith walk.

Both events are open to all, we look forward to seeing you there!
