Open Meeting for Worship: Remembrance for Peace

Open Meeting for Worship: Remembrance for Peace

11th Nov 2018, 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm

at Grounds of St Philip's Cathedral, Birmingham

Join Central England Quakers in an open-air meeting for worship on the centenary of Armistice Day.  A chance to remember all those affected by war, and reflect on our commitment to peace today.  The Peace Poppy Mosaics (pictured) will be on display, to help us reflect.

Quakers usually sit quietly for an hour but feel free to come and rest with us and experience the peace of a gathered meeting for five minutes, ten minutes, or just as long as you want. At the conclusion of the meeting you are welcome to join us at Peace Hub for a cup of tea and a chat.

All welcome, including children.
