Our theme Speak, Listen, Change is coming to an end at the Hub, but there are still plenty of ways to keep taking action to support our collective Mental Wellbeing, and demand equality for people experiencing Mental Health problems.
The charity Mind have regular campaigns – you can support their current campaign Fund the Hubs, and sign up for email alerts when new campaigns are launched.
The Mental Health Foundation continue to provide tips and guides for looking after our own mental wellbeing, and you can revisit all of the helpful resources shared during Mental Health Awareness Week in May.
For those working in public health, National Voices and the Centre for Mental Health have launched the Ask How I Am campaign calling for compassionate conversations for all people living with long-term conditions.
For Primary Schools, our sister organisation Peacemakers are working together with Peace Hub to offer Junior Peacemakers sessions, including Creating a Healthy School ~ wellbeing and relationship building.
The think tank Money & Mental Health are continuing their campaign Set Up to Fail, to support people to apply for benefits that they’re entitled to.
The Set Up to Fail campaign connects to our new theme for the next three months: Think Global, Act Local, Get Equal. We’re pleased to be revisiting this theme on economic equality, this year asking how can we Build Back Better from the pandemic? We’ll have information, personal stories, and a new campaign looking at how we can reform the benefits system and raise wages.
Pop in throughout July, August & September 2020 to have a chat and find out more.
