We’re pleased to announce that our theme for Oct – Dec 2024 will be Brummies for Peace – let’s say ‘no to weapons’ and ‘yes to peace’.
Some big changes are coming to Peace Hub, and this will be the last theme we’ll be running in this way. So it’s fitting to be returning to the very first theme we ran at the Hub 10 years ago.
As well as highlighting the terrible impacts of the arms trade, we’ll be exploring the alternatives – ways that we can build peace and security, and provide jobs for those currently employed in arms. Join us in saying ‘Brummies for Peace!’
And we’ll be building local resistance to an arms fair that is happening in nearby Telford in November, called SDSC. A group of peace pilgrims walked to Telford in September to begin spreading the message, and you can contribute by joining a creative action.
