This Easter, we are hosting The Creative Toroise, who will be providing creative actvities for all the family. Objection takes many forms – the activities will be exploring the theme of ‘Saying No’ and standing up for what you believe in.
During the school holidays there are drop-in activities, as well as drama sessions for different age groups that need to be booked – we look forward to seeing you there!
Drop-in Activity: Help us build the wall! Drop-in any time between 11 and 2:30 to take part for free: Tuesday 31st March, Wednesday 1st April & Wednesday 8th April. For children, families, adults – whoever you are! Come and help us build our wall taller and wider and make it speak out about what you beleive in. Customise your brick and add it to our wall: tell the the world ‘what do you stand up & say NO about?
Workshops (Free, but need to be booked)
Adults Drama / Writing Workshop: The Ones who Hollered Back – Tuesday 31st March 11-1pm & Wednesday 8th April 1-2:30pm. Stories will be told… or untold… Why do we choose or choose not to say ‘no’? Actors / writers / artists / people with no experience of drama welcome.
Children’s Workshops:
Stories, Shouts, Whispers (Age 5-10): Wednesday 1st April 11-1pm A workshop packed with stories – hear them watch them, build them: the possibilities are endless and it’s all down to you!
They Said What?#Why? (Age 8+): Wednesday 8th April 11-1pm Explore art, music, drama, film and texts that speak out about our world – and create your own!
