Ethical Money Churches Workshop

Ethical Money Churches Workshop

As part of our theme Think Global, Act Local, Get Equal, we’ve been encouraging you to think about who is looking after your money, and how you can make your money work for good.

You’re welcome to pop into Peace Hub for a chat and to take a simple action – but if you’d like to go a bit deeper, and in particular explore these issues from a faith perspective, then join our Ethical Money Churches workshop:

11th May 2019, 10:00 am – 12:30 pm

at Peace Hub, Birmingham.

‘A chance to explore connections between faith and money’

We’re pleased to be working with Colin Darling (Ethical Money Church Project Development Manager West Midlands) who will be leading the workshop.

During the session, we’ll explore the following topics, grounded in a Christian approach to peace & justice:

  • ethical spend
  • ethical investments
  • ethical pensions
  • ethical mortgages
  • fair tax
  • debt justice
  • social enterprise

It can also help your Eco-church score.

Attendance is free, but please register to help us plan for numbers:
