Peace Hub’s Our Shared Environment theme is all about celebrating the places we love and working to protect them from climate change. The Climate Coalition’s #ShowTheLove campaign is spreading that same message:
5th – 24th February is the time to Show the Love!
People across the UK will be:
- thinking about what they love,
- taking a personal challenge to protect it,
- spreading the message by wearing a green heart, and
- contacting their MP to ask them to take action to protect the things we all love from climate change
Our friends at Footsteps & the Bahu Trust have also organised a Show the Love & share some tea! event on Sun 17th February, 3:00-4:30pm at Birmingham Central Mosque.
Pop into Peace Hub to find our more, grab a green heart sticker or craft your own, and to send a postcard to your MP.
Peace Hub is highlighting Show the Love as we feel it is a positive campaign that fits with our current theme. It should not be inferred that Climate Coalition endorses Peace Hub in any way.
