Thanks to everyone who helped to make this & the other climate events a success: you can read about them here.

Exhibition: Faiths & our Carbon Footprint

Declaration: Archbishop Bernard Longley will introduce the Lambeth 2015 Declaration
on Climate Change. We are all urged to sign, affirming our support for the
declaration.

Reflections: short contributions from representatives of the Buddhist,
Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim and Sikh faiths and multifaith chaplains.

Pictures and writings by children showing us the world they want to live in
as adults will remind us whose future Paris will be deciding.

We also look forward to hearing the voices of representatives of
Birmingham’s young people

As world leaders, negotiators, actvists and pilgrims arrive in Paris for the COP21 climate summit, this evening walk & vigil is an opportunity to uphold all those working for a low-carbon future.  We will be exploring our responses as faith groups to the challenges of being good stewards of the Earth & it’s reources, and the footsteps we will need to take to a more hopeful future.

The walk of witness is a short walk through the city centre (carefully avoiding the packed Christmas Market!) Bring a torch (wind-up if possible) to help create a eye-catching and friendsly atmosphere.  If you want to bring a banner, please keep it positive, and if possible, base it on the footsteps theme.

People of all faiths & no particular faith welcome.

And check out these other events happenning in the run up to and post- Paris.
